Pop Culture and Organizing

Organizers have successfully challenged the entertainment industry and won (think #OscarsSoWhite). But there are also organizers working in mass networks of otherwise unaffiliated progressives who connect around conersations about the pop culture they love. Learn how organizers are changing our popular culture AND how activism is growing in pop culture communities.

We'll look at the difference between brand-jacking (something the left has done for years) and cultural organizing (something we don't do enough of).
