In the months following the inauguration, grassroots groups around the country engaged in unprecedented efforts to derail the Trump agenda. From confronting elected representatives at town halls to bird-dogging them at fundraisers to holding mock-gatherings with live-poultry standing in for MOCs, everyday people brought the heat to prevent the repeal of Affordable Care Act and other disastrous pieces of legislation. In this panel, we will discuss what worked, what didn't, and why based on examples from People's Action member organizations. We will dig into the ways digital tools enabled new activist to plug into existing organizing or start organizing in their own areas. And we will talk about what comes next as the grassroots works with the netroots to beat Trump and the Republicans going forward.
