At the local level, we talk about 'coalitions.' But on a movement level, we're talking about something even broader: alignment. The ability of people to work in concert, under different brands, pushing in the same direction against the same opponents. How do we support this mode of cooperation in our messaging, organizing behavior, and politics? What are the obstacles embedded in the 'actually existing progressive infrastructure' and how do we overcome them? And what opportunities does the present popular opposition moment present to us to do this better?
